Bessie's first foray into the pageant industry involved a friend who aspired to be Binibining Pilipinas 2005. Taking passion to heart, they braved that year’s application and screening armed only with a digital camera. Perseverance paid off, as the entrant eventually emerged as one of the semi-finalists. Further motivated to produce more beauty queens, Bessie joined a group of successful pageant mentors and formed Team Aces & Queens in 2008. Training remains comprehensive and holistic. It included catwalk, fitness, makeup & styling and strategic speech communication.
Year after year, his number of mentees increases as momentum in the international pageant arena escalates. Eventually the crème de la crème roster of international pageant placers continue shower the country with honor and pride. He has mentored the 4-peat Miss Universe runners-up namely Venus Raj, Shamcey Supsup, Janine Tugonon, Ariella Arida and Miss Universe 2015, Pia Wurtzbach. He has greatly contributed in producing the country’s first ever Miss World, Megan Young and was instrumental in the decision of Miss International Kylie Versoza in pursuing the pageant scene.
Bessie is one of the focal point person when the Miss Universe was hosted in January 2107. Later that year, Bessie has taken the role of General Manager with Miss World Philippines.
He is currently based in the United States pursuing mentorship and bringing the Filipino Pageant Training internationally.
